Our History

Founded in 1977, CPC has since grown to include 14 subsidiaries, 14 retail outlets.

2020

  • Sale of CPC stake in ECSG

2016

  • The acquisition of 100% of Joe Trade Assets specialized in aqua feed & pet food production.

2013

  • New Feed Mill and Cattle Feed production commences.

2012

  • In 2012, we made great progress on our new feed mill, established in Nubaria to address increased demand for pellet feed and facilitate distribution. The facilities will become operational in the first half of 2013, and will nearly double CPC’s overall feed production capacity.

2011

  • Established a new feed mill

2010

  • Inauguration of Koki’s new processing facility for meat and poultry

  • Koki’s retail outlets witnessed significant expansion

2009

  • Opened first Koki retail outlet

  • Increased broiler capacity

  • Increased Parent capacity

2008

  • Established a second slaughterhouse, increasing total capacity

2007

  • Acquired several small sized competitors to increase broiler capacity

  • Increased Parent capacity

  • Increased Hatchery capacity

  • Increased Hatchery capacity

2004

  • Acquisition of Egyptian Starch and Glucose Company (jointly with Americana)

  • Increased broiler capacity

  • Increased feed production capacity

  • Enhancement of Agriculture operation (Olive Farms)

2001

  • Increased capacity of Grandparents farms

1998

  • Increased capacity of Grandparents farms (Hubbard)

  • Increased Parent capacity

1992

  • Increased capacities of Broiler, Hatchery

  • Launched Koki brand and inaugurated its first slaughterhouse

1986

  • Introduction of Grandparents farms (Arbor Acres) with a capacity of Increased broiler capacity
