On the heels of the AGRENA Poultry Exhibition, CPC Chairman Adel Al-Alfi called on the government to support and subsidize vaccinations as concerns about the rate of poultry mortality continue to grow. “Small farm owners can’t afford vaccinations and instead resort to cheaper alternatives that are ineffective and unsuitable for diseases,” says Al-Alfi, concluding that the state will need to take action if they want to see a real price reduction on poultry goods and a general expansion in the industry.
